Naturist villas, cottages and holiday homes in Europe

The guide lists 14 places of this type in 6 countries: France, Spain, Croatia, Portugal, Netherlands, United Kingdom. For each one you contact the owner or the site directly through Travelia, with no commission.

Renting a naturist house means having a place of your own: an enclosed garden, often a pool, and the freedom to be naked from morning to night without meeting other holidaymakers. It is the ideal choice for a couple, a family or a group of friends who prefer peace and quiet to the bustle of a big naturist village.

Country cottage, villa with private pool, bungalow or chalet: the choice ranges from a small unit at a naturist owner's home to a large house booked exclusively for a group. Before booking, check three things: is the garden private, is nudity allowed everywhere, and is the place naturist-only or open to everyone depending on the season. The listings below tell you.

Each listing leads to Travelia, where you write directly to the owner, with no commission.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a naturist cottage and a naturist campsite?

A cottage or villa is a self-contained home, often with a private garden, run by an owner; a campsite is a shared site with communal facilities (pool, restaurant, activities). The house gives more privacy, the campsite more social life.

Do I need a naturist card to rent a villa or cottage?

The owner sets the rules: most do not ask for one, a few do. The listing or the owner will tell you before you book.

Can I rent for a week or just a few nights?

In summer, weekly rentals are the norm; outside the high season many owners accept shorter stays, often with a 2- or 3-night minimum.
